Industri Robotik China Siap ‘Banjir’ Robot Manusia ke Indonesia

by

Robotics industry in China is rapidly advancing, as evidenced by the World Robot Conference 2025 in Beijing. This event showcased the capabilities of Chinese robotics, highlighting a future where humanoid robots play an increasingly important role in daily life and work. With 50 humanoid robot manufacturers participating and setting records for launching new models and solutions, the scale of the conference was impressive. China’s ambition in robotics is supported by solid progress, leading the world with nearly 6,000 humanoid robot patent applications in the last five years.

Investment in the industry has soared, with industry financing reaching 7.23 billion yuan in 2024 from 1.58 billion yuan in 2020, showing a significant annual growth rate of 35.6 percent. The importance of advanced technology in robotics was emphasized by industry pioneers like Liu Wuyue, founder of Link-touch, a Chinese startup. His company is breaking boundaries with six-dimensional force sensors specifically designed for humanoid robots through innovative elastomer designs, high-response embedded circuits, and sophisticated algorithms.

Looking ahead, China is positioned to lead in component development, leveraging strong customer demands, unmatched supply chain excellence, and a mature innovation ecosystem. Meanwhile, AgiBot, China’s most valuable artificial intelligence startup, is expanding its efforts to explore international markets. AgiBot, valued at 15 billion yuan, operates the first mass production facility in Shanghai for humanoid robots, with plans to target markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia.

By focusing on localization through close partnerships with local players, AgiBot aims for true globalization and has already begun shipping products to overseas customers. The successful expansion of Chinese products on the global stage has been a strategic focus for AgiBot, emphasizing the rapid international growth potential of competitive domestic products.
